Have you ever looked at a sunrise and thought, “Wow, God! You did that. You didn’t have to, but you wanted to!” Our God is truly the Master Artist. The Creator of the universe didn’t stop once the creation was set into motion. He continues to be creative and shows His glory and majesty all around us!
You know, we were created in His image. The God who created the whole world entered into His creation and formed man out of dirt. (Genesis 2:7) He spoke the world into existence, but He chose to create man, in His image, with His hands. Then He created Eve out of man’s rib.
We were created on purpose and for purpose. Since the Creator of the Universe used His hands to create us in His likeness, it only makes sense that we, too, need to use our hands to be creative.
We were created to be creative! So whoever is reading this, go get your hands dirty… or busy. Be creative. Go paint. Go draw. Go crochet/knit/sew. Go build. Go do some woodworking. Go make music. Go garden. Go be creative.
Go glorify God in all that you do!
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:20
