Everyday people tell me one of my kids looks just like me. And often we talking about my daughters, they will say she’s my mini-me.
And don’t get me wrong- I love to hear that and see the resemblance. (Though I don’t love when their attitudes remind me of a less-refined me.)
But the other day I really started thinking about that.
I don’t want her to be my mini-me. I want her to be BETTER THAN ME. In all areas— I want her to be stronger spiritually, emotionally, and even physically than I am. I want her (actually all of them) to know their worth in Jesus- called, appointed, and chosen to do GOOD WORKS and BEAR FRUIT for HIS GLORY!
The world doesn’t need another me. The world need HER led by JESUS to GO and BE THE LIGHT!
