If your peace is disrupted, go spend time with Jesus.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).”
Jesus said it- We have peace in Him.
Jesus also said-This world is going to have troubles.
It’s a guarantee. We live in a broken world. Full of people hurting others. Full of sin.
But that wasn’t God’s original design. He designed us to be in relationship with Him.
But sin separates us.
And there is a punishment for that sin- “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).”
God knew we couldn’t escape our brokenness on our own, so from the beginning, He had a plan to redeem and restore us.
He sent us Jesus! Who never sinned! And didn’t deserve the punishment of death! Yet, He took it for us!
Peace comes from Him, and Him alone, because He, and He alone, redeemed you. AND He is restoring your relationship with the Father.
So when the worries of the world start weighing you down… When your peace is disrupted, go spend some time with the only one who can give you peace- Jesus.
